In Spring 2022, I worked alongside a diverse team of students to help facilitate solutions for problems posed to us by our contacts at Quixel. As a part of the Drone Team, I learned to pilot drones for the purpose of Photogrammetry and compiled a series of scans for the final presentation.
My Contribution
Completed a Drone Pilot Training Course and passed the subsequent Commercial Drone Pilot's Exam earning my License.
Completed a wide variety of Scans using a drone while documenting the process and it's various challenges - our most extensive being the scan of the Tybee Island Lighthouse.
Learned Quixel's Reality Capture Software and helped teach other members of the team.
Gave several presentations to our contacts at Quixel explaining our progress and various discoveries.
Created and compiled 2 highlight reels in Unreal Engine 5 showing off our various successes.
