Heavy Oil is 4 player cooperative resource management game about exploration set in a diesel-punk inspired world or mystery.
My Contributions
Served as the Lead Designer behind key mechanics and systems - including the Turn system and its three Phases, the 4 player roles and their individual mechanics, and the systems attached to the various in-game encounters.
Worked closely with our Project Lead to ensure the game fit the desired aesthetic of airship management and exploration.
Wrote, designed, and compiled the entirety of the Heavy Oil Rulebook using Adobe InDesign.
Designed the text contents of all cards.
Managed the 3D printing process for final game pieces.
