Cyber Cathedral

Environment Artist

Project Overview
Cyber Cathedral is an environment created in Unreal Engine 5. It's narrative is that of a Dystopian Cult led by an Artificially Intelligent Cult Leader.
The Cult has taken over an old cathedral and repurposed it to house the Cult Leader and hold their dark Mechanical Mass.
My Contribution
For this project I modeled, textured, lit, and developed every aspect of the scene.
Created 25 models in Maya and textured them using a combination of Substance Painter and Substance Designer. The broken tiles that make up the majority of the cathedral walls is a procedural material.
Several decals including moss, dirt, posters, and liquid were created and subtly animated.
Light functions and animated materials were created to enhance the atmosphere of the scene.
Blueprints were created to bring the cameras in the scene to life using timeline animation.
The entire video was recorded using Unreal Sequencer and edited in Adobe After Effects.
